comfortable stay

large place with two rooms. Two television sets and to airconditioners. The bed was wonderful. Internet services were great.

Cleanliness can be improved, we found toe-nails of previous occupants. There were no plates, only two tea-cups and too little cutlery in general.

Great and pleasant stay

We enjoyed comfy Bed, nice amenities, welcoming and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and in nice neighborhood. The location is awesome with many great food places within walking distance, and it has a space for free public street parking also.

Sometimes, Wifi went offline for a few minutes during my business meetings calls.

Good place, good service, unreasonable restrictions

Place is near by all nice foods and it is private and secure. Clean and nice place.

Even hotel's u can get people visit u. No noise was made. But the owner didn't like people coming in. For such rules, it is very expensive. Even tho a make up artist came for an hour, i got a call saying visitors aren't allowed. I have come from overseas to see friends and family. Some days u just want to chill in the room and watch tv and have a friend over to just chill. No party was happening. No noise was made. Too pricey to have such restrictions.

A good location for good food around the area

A quaint house along Serangoon Garden Way, it is in a good location. It is close to famous supper spots like RK Eating House and Chomp Chomp Food Centre. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, with the staff maintaining the cleanliness. Room is spacious and comfortable, air conditioning was powerful and able to cool the room quickly and efficiently. A must-have in sunny Singapore.

Staff spoke very basic English and could barely answer questions. However, she processed our check-in very quickly and with no hassle. Would have liked the staff to inform us that there was laundry charges instead of simply telling us to leave the laundry at the door. Requested for a quiet room and did not expect there was renovations next door which was disruptive but this was no fault of Rest House.

slow wifi buffering on tv programs some part of the common areas dirty floor no fridge in the room no housekeeping for 3d2n difficulty in getting cabs quite a distance to walk to the town centre during rain season it’s noisy when the rain fall onto the zinc roofs.

- Close proximity to food places - 24/hr hotline - Ability to provide iron when needed for an hour - Cold fridge unlike the usual hotels - Conpensated to a bigger room (loft room with no tub) - Toiletries are all available (accept face towels) - Owners are friendly and accommodating - The lights had three colour options - Lift accesible to higher floors

- The sheets smelled abit weird - Housekeeper comes less often so garbage piles up but things can be provided upon request - Our initial room was not available (no tub) as it was under maintenance - Only can watch Channel U on tv, luckily we brought our laptop - Showerhead abit spoilt - Facilities not accesible due to pandemic

Overall, the venue is cozy and the location is just great. A very good experience for us.

This is the best homestay you could get for your money's worth. We enjoyed our 4-nights stay thoroughly. There is no need for meals to be included, coz there are plenty of food outlets just a short walk away. I promise you'd be spoilt for choices. The owner and staff are very efficient, cheerful and accommodating. This place is highly recommendable.

I only wish there would be a daily replenishment of quality instant coffee, that would certainly perk up our morning. But I did received a plate of cut fruits twice, compliments from the staff.
